Why this matters
Almost every factory in India will tell you they are trustworthy. The difference between one that is and one that says it is, is whether you can verify it. We publish what we can publicly, and share the rest with serious buyers under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Nothing is hidden behind vague language or on-request-only stonewalls.

The standard social compliance audit framework used by most serious global retailers. Independent third-party auditors walk our floor, review records, and interview workers without our presence. Findings and corrective actions included.
Business Social Compliance Initiative
European social compliance standard, accepted by most Nordic and EU retailers as a baseline for supplier qualification. Equivalent scope to SMETA with some European-specific provisions.
Quality Management System
Documented SOPs per production category, inspection checkpoints at raw material, in-line, and final stages, AQL sampling for every outbound shipment, defect-tracking, and formal corrective-action process.

US food-contact compliance for metal kitchenware, barware, and serveware. Test reports from accredited laboratories (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or TÜV Rheinland) per SKU category.
EU 1935/2004 Framework
German/EU food-contact regulations. We maintain testing on kitchenware, copper barware (tin-lined), and serveware for EU markets. Per-SKU reports available.
Lead, Cadmium, BPA warnings
California Proposition 65 compliance for brassware shipped to the US. We use lead-free brass alloys for all food-contact and tabletop products, and we maintain conformance documentation.
EC 1907/2006
Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) conformance for EU markets. Relevant for metal finishes, lacquers, and wood-metal combinations.
Renewable Energy · On-Site Photovoltaic
The entire workshop runs on solar energy generated from an on-site photovoltaic array. Production, finishing, lighting, and admin — all powered by sunlight. Real renewable energy, not offset certificates. Verification photos and capacity documentation available on request.
Environmental Management
We are working toward formal ISO 14001 certification. Brass and copper are infinitely recyclable materials and our workshop minimizes scrap, reuses off-cuts, and runs with care for water and energy.
Worker welfare
Our artisans are paid fair, market-comparable wages and have been for more than a decade. Master artisans with decades of experience are paid accordingly. Apprentices are trained properly, on the floor, by masters — the old way — and are paid during training. We do not use child labor. We do not use bonded labor. We do not use forced overtime.
These are not claims. They are auditable facts and we invite verified buyers to confirm them directly. Serious buyers are welcome to visit the workshop in person, speak with artisans without our presence, and examine our books.
