Original equipment manufacturing is a plain arrangement: you bring the design, we make it, and it ships under your name. Where it goes wrong in India is the gap between the trading company that takes the order and the workshop that makes the piece. At Hands & Craft there is no gap — the people who quote your drawing are the people who cast, spin, hammer, finish, and pack it, in one workshop in Moradabad.

We take three kinds of brief. OEM: your drawing, CAD file, or reference sample, made to tolerance. ODM: a piece from our catalog, adapted — resized, refinished, re-handled — and produced under your brand. Private label: either of the above with your hang tag, your packaging, your barcode, and nothing of ours in the box. Most programs are a mix.

The process is the same every time: brief, quotation with tooling shown separately, counter-sample in about ten working days, your approval, a pre-production sample from the actual tooling, production, inspection against the approved sample, packing, and export documentation. You see photographs at every gate.

Moradabad has been working brass for four hundred years, and the region's craft has a Geographical Indication. What that means for a buyer is depth: every metal process a home-goods spec calls for is done in-house or within walking distance by artisans we have worked with for a decade.

Capacity is real, not aspirational: fifty artisans on our own floor, a network of two hundred more, and programs from 200 to 50,000 units. Runs above a few thousand are scheduled in phases so you can take partial shipments against your calendar.
