The category

The table is where Moradabad started.

Bowls and platters for Mughal courts were the first things the city made in brass, four hundred years ago, and the table is still the largest category on our workshop floor — 855 listed SKUs of bowls, platters, trays, stands, boards, utensils, napkin rings, coasters, jugs, and service pieces in brass, copper, stainless, aluminium, pewter, wood, and marble.

Spun and hammered metal, cast handles and feet, hand-engraving and enamel for surface, turned and carved wood, cut and polished marble — and the food-contact finishing (food-grade lacquer, tin and stainless linings, lead-free alloys) that lets the pieces be sold for real use, with the test reports to prove it.

What buyers order

Collections that set a table.

Bowls and platters: hammered brass and aluminium, marble with brass, wood with inlay — nested sets and statement centrepieces.

Trays and stands: serving trays, cake and tiered stands, cloches — see brass trays.

Napkin rings, coasters, salt and pepper: high-volume, giftable, boxed in sets; the accessories of every tableware launch.

Boards and utensils: mango and acacia boards with brass handles or inlay; brass, copper, and stainless serving spoons, tongs, and ladles.

Tea, coffee, and bar: pots, jugs, ice buckets, and copper mugs; see barware and hospitality programs.

How we fit

We make it. Directly.

Hands & Craft is a workshop, not a trading house — fifty artisans on our floor in Moradabad and a network of two hundred more across the city, on a 100% solar-powered site. MOQs, lead times, and payment terms are published openly; compliance reports on request; two-hour response during Indian working hours.

Request trade access and we will send a tableware linesheet — retail, gifting, or hospitality — within 24 hours.

Questions buyers ask

Answered before the first call.

Are your serveware pieces food safe?

Yes. Food-contact pieces use food-grade lacquers or tin, nickel, or stainless linings, lead-free brass alloys, and lead-free solder; FDA and LFGB test reports are supplied per SKU on request. Wood boards and bowls are finished with food-safe oil.

What tableware and serveware do you manufacture?

Bowls, platters, trays, cake and tiered stands, boards, serving utensils, napkin rings, salt and pepper sets, coasters, jugs, tea and coffee service, and the barware around them — in brass, copper, stainless steel, aluminium, pewter, mango and sheesham wood, and marble. Kitchen and dining is the largest category in our working catalog at 855 listed SKUs.

What is the minimum order for wholesale serveware?

200 units per SKU; 500 for a newly tooled spun form. Mixed-SKU orders across a table collection are standard, and napkin rings and coasters are often ordered by the thousand.

Can you make our own tableware designs under private label?

Yes. From your drawing or reference sample we counter-sample in about 10 working days, then produce under your brand with your packaging, hang tags, and barcodes. Restaurant and hotel programs are handled on our hospitality page.

Is brass or copper serveware dishwasher safe?

Lacquered brass and bare copper are not; they are wiped or hand-washed. Stainless steel, lacquered aluminium, and stainless-lined pieces are dishwasher safe. We say which is which on the care card so your customer knows what they have.
