Most copper drinkware sold in the world is spun and hammered in Moradabad's workshops, whatever name ends up on the base. The Moscow mule mug — sixteen ounces, hammered or smooth, brass or copper handle — is the anchor of the category, and behind it sit tumblers, water bottles, pitchers, jiggers, straws, ice buckets, and the copper serveware bars and hotels use around them.
We spin the bodies from pure copper sheet, hammer them by hand where the design asks for texture, cast and rivet or braze the handles with lead-free solder, and line them in nickel, tin, or stainless when the program needs it. Finishes are polished, satin, hammered, or antiqued, with a food-safe lacquer or left bare to develop patina.

Copper water bottles: 750 ml and 1 litre, plain or hammered, with brass or copper caps — a fast-growing wellness and gifting line.

Construction and safety
Pure copper, lead-free, lined where it should be.
The category has a real safety question, and the honest answer sells better than the vague one. Bare copper reacts with acidic drinks; the US FDA Model Food Code and most local health codes prohibit it for commercial service. So for bars and hotels we line — nickel, tin, or a stainless inner — and for retail and gifting we offer both lined and pure, labelled clearly, with a care card that says what the customer has.
All handles are joined with lead-free solder. Bodies are pure copper, not copper-plated steel — a magnet test on the sample will confirm it. FDA and LFGB test reports per SKU, and Proposition 65 compliance for California, are available on request.

Should a Moscow mule mug be lined or pure copper?
For commercial bars we recommend lined — nickel, tin, or a stainless-steel inner — because the US FDA Model Food Code does not allow bare copper in contact with acidic drinks such as a mule, and most health departments follow it. Pure unlined copper is still the preferred choice for many retail and gifting programs. We make both and label them clearly.
Are your copper mugs food safe and lead-free?
Yes. We use pure copper (not copper-plated steel), lead-free solder on riveted and brazed handles, and food-grade linings. FDA and LFGB test reports per SKU are available for hospitality and retail programs, and the exterior lacquer, where used, is food-safe.
Can you put our logo on the mugs?
Yes — engraving, embossing, laser marking, or a stamped base. Bar and brand programs usually run 200–2,000 pieces with a logo; retail gift sets add printed boxes, hang tags, and barcodes under your label.
What is the minimum order for wholesale copper mugs?
